And they have forgotten their roots....playing a wide diversity of music. I would have no problem with that. But just selling themselves out to rap? C'mon now.

Back in the day, you would see just as many metal videos as rap...you had Headbangers Ball with Rikki Rachtman, and there was the equal time for rap with....can't remember the name of the show, quite entertaining, though.

mtv, music television. they should change their name. they are not about music anymore. Yes, i'm old. Back in the day you could see Def Leppard, thenyou might see RUN DMC then matbe Madomma then a little Warrant, some Bon Jovi and a video by the Bangles. now what do you get, nothing even relatrd to Mtv

OH man I love those shows, I have heard of a lot of the comedians on there, Hal Sparks cracks me up (Michael Ian Black not so much) and Loni Love I love her too. Hal Sparks did this skit where he was talking like Carl from Slingblade and Forrest Gump totally hilarious.....I just love them all!!

Hair metal sucks anyways, no one cares about the crap you guys used to lisen to.

VH1 isnt a music channel anymore, just accept it.
That is what a radio is for.

I, for one, enjoy the shows on VH1.
